GACL Recruitment : गुजरात सरकार ने 1973 में जीएसीएल को बढ़ावा दिया। इसका पहला कास्टिक सोडा, तरल क्लोरीन और हाइड्रोक्लोरिक एसिड संयंत्र 1976 में चालू हुआ। 2000 टीपीए की क्षमता वाला सोडियम साइनाइड संयंत्र चालू किया गया। जीएसीएल ने क्लोरोमेथेन के निर्माण के लिए एक विविधीकरण परियोजना शुरू की। इसमें कास्टिक सोडा, क्लोरीन, हाइड्रोजन गैस, हाइड्रोक्लोरिक एसिड, क्लोरोमेथेन, हाइड्रोजन पेरोक्साइड, फॉस्फोरिक एसिड, पोटेशियम हाइड्रॉक्साइड, पोटेशियम कार्बोनेट, सोडियम साइनाइड, सोडियम फेरोसाइनाइड के लिए एकीकृत विनिर्माण सुविधाएं हैं।
